Morata and Musonda starts in Chelsea probable 3-4-2-1 formation against Watford

Chelsea have already lost as many games as they did when they conquered the league last season and pundits have already ruled them out of the title challenge with just eight games played.

The Blues were shockingly thumped by London rivals Crystal Palace, who until the game lost all their games in the league without scoring a single goal. Chelsea will host Watford City who currently occupy fourth position on the Premier league log having stunned Arsenal at the Vicarage Road last weekend.

There are reports of strife between Antonio Conte and his players but the Italian tactician will be looking to get his team back to winning ways before he gets the boots out of Stamford Brigde.

Chelsea were boosted by the return of their talisman Alvaro Morata having recovered from a hamstring injury before the last international break. He will surely be thrusted to lead the attack of the English Champions.

Premier league best defensive midfielder N’golo Kante is scheduled to have another scan ahead of the game but he is not expected back until January. The midfield remains decimated with Tiemoue Bakayoko and David Luis doubtful for the clash – we are likely to see a Charly Musonda starting in midfield.

Speaking about his team ahead of the game, Conte said:

‘I hope in these 24 hours to try to recover some players. It could be [Cesc is only one fit in midfield]. ‘For sure tomorrow the game will be very tough because Watford is a good team and a good position in the table.
