Games are coming thick and fast and Chelsea are still experiencing a bit of a drag up front. Eden Hazard is Maurizio Sarri’s favourite option up front. But talks crowding the Bridge at the moment say Chelsea will be able to sign Sarri’s long-term target Gonzalo Higuain from AC Milan in January.
Chelsea tried bringing on a striker in the summer, but couldn’t lay their fingers on any. However, they almost caught Higuain but couldn’t nick a deal. Higuain was reluctant about coming to London.
But the 31-year-old is already fancying a move away from the San Siro after joining them in the summer on a loan deal.
Higuain has yet to find his footing with the Rossoneri and is raring to leave. According to reports floating about in Italy, the Argentine wants to reunite with Sarri at Stamford Bridge and Juventus are all smiles about it.
Higuain has failed to impress at Milan this campaign, after being shipped away from the club to create enough space for summer arrival Cristiano Ronaldo.
It is said that Juventus have warmed up to the transfer and will be happy to approve his move in January to Chelsea.
Elsewhere, reports are also claiming Milan will not thwart his move to London in January.
