Mega star Real Madrid target reveals he will be a Chelsea player in January

Hazard has hinted he could remain at Chelsea for the long term.

The Belgium international has yet to pen down a new deal at the London outfit since joining from the Ligue One eight years ago.

Heavy clamours calling for Chelsea to sweeten the kitty in their talks to pin him down have proved effortless.

Chelsea is keen on making the Belgian playmaker their highest earner, but talks over his future has been halted for now, until perhaps next summer.

Hazard has been touted to fill in Cristiano Ronaldo’s spot after the Portuguese departed the outfit for Italian outfit Juventus in the summer.

There is no fuel to hold the bright flame that once propelled the club, and slowly, gradually, it is extinguishing.

Hazard could save Los Blancos from being completely submerged in the shadows, he could be the fuel that could make them burn brighter if he joins next summer, as predicted.

Real Madrid could come for him in January, but Hazard has warned that it would be a failed attempt. The 27-year-old reflected he is not keen on leaving in January, but a summer move he did not rule out.

“For now I’m staying at Chelsea,” Hazard told Canal Plus.

“I have one year left in June. If I don’t extend, it (a move) is possible. I can’t see myself leaving in January. I wouldn’t do that to the club, to the fans.

“Next summer it’s a possibility, but it’s also possible that I spend the rest of my career at Chelsea.”

Asked if he eyed a return, back to the Ligue One, with big spenders Paris Saint-Germain keen on signing him, he rebuffed the idea.
