Germany and former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can is set to undergo medicals with Seria A club Juventus ahead of a potential swoop, per reports.
Can has been a fundamental squad member for the Reds since his move from Bayern Leverkusen in the summer of 2014 but he’s decided against staying put with Jurgen Klopp over bit-part role.
The central midfielder was offered a contract extension deal by the Reds a year ago but he rebuffed same deal and went on to secretly agreeing a move with the Old Lady in the January of 2018.
Liverpool were heavily disappointed at the player and they announced at the close of last season that along with Jon Flanagan and several youth players, Can will leave as a free agent beginning July 1.
Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta has never hidden his admiration or intention for Can and it is now only a matter of time before the star seals a dream move with the Old Lady.
According to Sky Italia journalist Fabrizio Romano, an agreement is already in place between Juventus and the player, with medical all that’s left for the completion of the deal.

Liverpool have already sealed a deal for the fantastic Fabinho, who is expected to partner former RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita in the midfield.
Although, Nabil Fekir came close to joining the Reds, his deal is back on and it is widely claimed that he will still put pen to paper on a deal with Liverpool.
