Aaron Ramsey has completed medical ahead of his proposed move to Arsenal, this is according to emerging reports.
Ramsey is free to speak with any club of his choice this winter. If he doesn’t secure a transfer this month, he will become a free agent at the end of the season.
Several clubs in Europe have expressed interest in the playmaker but Juventus are front-runners to sign him.
Consequently, the 28-year-old star has set his heart on joining the Old Lady, where he is expected to put pen to paper on a five year deal. The deal is said to be worth €7 million a year (£6m/$8m) plus bonuses.
Rife reports have indicated that the Welsh star has successfully taken the first part of his medical with Juve.
The Old Lady had some of their medical staff in London on Sunday as they replicated the exercise which saw Emre Can and Sami Khadira join the club.
Arsenal had withdrawn their contract extension offers for Ramsey but they are looking to recoup funds from his sale to sign some of Emery’s target.
Ramsey is currently the longest serving Arsenal player, he won three FA Cups during his time at the club.
