Maurizio Sarri sanctions swap deal for Chelsea including €40m box-to-box midfielder

Chelsea are weighing on a swap deal that will include Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie’ and on-loan star Tiemoue Bakayoko, this is according to reports.

The Blues are currently one of the most active clubs of the January transfer window. They have already signed Cristian Pulisic from Borrusia Dortmund but Maurizio Sarri is not resting on his onus to bolster the squad of the Blues.

Since arriving AC Milan in the summer of 2017, Kessie has been a regular and impressive feature for the San Siro outfit and he has been noticed by the Blues.

He has started in all but one of the Serie matches of Milan this term. According to Tutto Mercato Web, Sarri is a huge admirer of the 22-year-old workaholic midfielder and he wants a deal to be done for him this window.

Milan currently values him at €40m but Chelsea are willing to including Tiemoue Bakayoko as part of the deal, claims the report.

Bakayoko is currently on a season long loan move to Milan, where he has featured regularly. AC Milan have the option of signing the star for  €35m but they are asking the Blues to reduce the fee, meaning they are interested in his services.

TMW claim Chelsea will take advantage of AC Milan’s desperation for Bakayoko to sign Kessie.
