Clubs across Europe are handpicking targets for their shortlist as the winter transfer window draws closer and FA Cup winners Chelsea are not left out in the bustling.
Chelsea have readied themselves with a bumper offer for growing Italian star Federico Chiesa in January.
Chiesa is an amazing personality on the field and his tenacity on the pitch has prompted new boss Maurizio Sarri to give a nod for his services.
The Blues are currently monitoring the 20-year-old closely, preparing to jet to Italy as soon as the transfer business is open for business again in January.
Sarri, particularly, is impressed with what the youngster has done for Fiorentina and is hugely keen on flying him in, from La Viola to Stamford Bridge, to start another career at Chelsea.
It is not at all shocking if clubs across Europe, including Chelsea are scrambling to convince the 20-year-old to put pen to paper when January arrives.
Chiesa found the back of the net 10 times and notched up 13 assists last season for Fiorentina. He has appeared six times for the Azzurri–the Italian national team.
Chiesa, has so far, racked up 67 appearances for Fiorentina since clawing out of the Tuscan based outfit’s academy.
Aside Chelsea, interests from Juventus, Napoli and Inter have been acknowledged.
