Maurizio Sarri sanctions Chelsea deal for Man United prime target

Maurizio Sarri is interested in signing Mexico and PSV Eindhoven winger Hirving Lozano, this is according to reports.

Sarri inherited a thin squad from Antonio Conte and he has been able to only bolster the midfield of the squad. The Blues are currently only two points adrift of table toppers Man City and Liverpool but Sarri is in the want of reinforcing his squad.

The Blues are particularly in need of a point-man but the recent display of Lozano has caught the attention of several clubs including Chelsea. The 23-year-old Mexican was on the scoring sheet for PSV last night in the Champions League and he has scored eight League goals in nine games.

Manchester United and Barcelona have been heavily linked with a move for the star since the summer but according to emerging reports in Italy, Sarri has sanctioned a move for the player.

Given the form of the player, he would get more interest in the upcoming transfer window and as expected, he may not come cheap.

Eden Hazard has been in blistering form, but the likes of Willian and Pedro have been unable to find their footing since the start of the season – Sarri is in the want of a more reliable attacker to complement the efforts of Hazard and Lozano could just be the man.
