Maurizio Sarri has sanction a Chelsea deal for Albanian and Napoli full back Elseid Hysaj, this report is according to talksport.
Hysaj was a mainstay in the first team of Napoli during the reign of Sarri at the club and the manager is looking to reunite with his former player.
Under Sarri, Chelsea have lost only one game in the Premier League this term but much have been said about how thin his squad is. The Blues bolstered their squad this term but they signed a goalkeeper and two midfielders, leaving Sarri with a dearth of defensive and attacking option in his squad.
Manchester United and Arsenal were credited with interest for the player in the summer transfer window but it appears that Sarri has the upper hand as it is given that the Albanian is his former player.
Victor Moses and Davide Zappacosta have lost the trust of Sarri, who has refused to feature them in other competitions. It is claimed by the report that he has asked Chelsea to sign Hysaj to understudy and possibly compete with Ceaser Azpilicueta for the right back position.
The January transfer window is fast approaching and Chelsea are expected to be one of the most busiest clubs in the window.
The player is valued at £22.50m according to transfermarkt.
