Maurizio Sarri has revealed his intention to bolster the squad of Chelsea before the close of the transfer window, per reports.
Sarri arrived Chelsea late in the summer and he was able to sign only two outfield players late on in the transfer window.
The Blues have already confirmed the signing of Cristian Pulisic but they are still on the lookout for a other top-notch players.
Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ethan Ampadu are also linked with a move away from Chelsea but Sarri has factored in the aforementioned stars in his plans for the club.
Sarri was quizzed about his plans for the rest of the January window and he said:
According to the Metro: “As I said before, the club knows my opinion, and in my opinion we need two players.
“If you ask me something else then I don’t know what to answer because I am not in charge of the market.
“The bench is not very short. It has been left short in only one position at the moment because I think that Hudson-Odoi is improving.
“In one or two months he will be at the same level as the other players. I hope the same for Ampadu.”
Chelsea will return to Premier League action on Sunday against Arsenal.
The Blues are currently occupying the fourth spot on the Premier League log and they stand a huge chance of qualification.
