Arsenal youngster Xavier Amaechi has sustained a foot injury and he has been ruled out of action until next year, this is according to reports.
Amaechi joined Arsenal as a 12-year-old and has progressed through the ranks of the clubs to sign his first professional contract in January.
He has been a key and regular feature for the B-team of Arsenal led by Freddie Ljungberg and he is very well eligible to play for the U18s.
Amechi sustained the injury while training with England U-18 and the result of a recent scan reveals the rising star faces several months out on the sidelines. According to JBAY, the star is not expected to return in this calender year and he will miss the start of the FA Youth Cup, which has been scheduled to start in December.
The left-footed winger is said to be one of the brightest attacking prospect currently at the academy of Arsenal and he will be greatly missed. Cohen Bramall and Jordi Osei-Tutu are among the players ruled out of action with injuries.
