Barcelona may struggle to contain the discontent that Ousmane Dembele has been displaying since falling out of favour with boss Ernesto Velverde.
Ousmane Dembele has struggled to fit into Velverde’s plans this season and the record signing may be getting tired.
Dembele caused a stir when he reportedly went off the grid, sparking a rift in the club.
The frontman reportedly did not show up in a training session with the rest of the squad, and cut the line of communications with the club for sometime, angering club officials.
Dembele is said to have gone down with gastroenteritis, however, aside from that, it is understood the Frenchman is beefed up from being axed from the club’s plans this season.
Liverpool are keen on signing the disgruntled star, as Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of the French forward.
Dembele’s attitude is said to be affecting a pool of senior players in the Catalans squad, and could be allowed to leave the club to seek game time elsewhere, after showing strong hints of dissatisfaction at the club.
With talks peddling over a possible move for the 21-year-old, it is still unlikely the move will materialise. Klopp is known to be a very strict disciplinarian and handpicking Dembele and fitting him into the Reds squad could be bungled if Dembele keeps displaying an utterly disapproving behaviour.
