Manchester United got off to an impressive start in the Premier League when they thumped West Ham United at Old Trafford last weekend. The Reds Devils will be looking to replicate same form when they resume hostilities against Swansea at the Liberty Stadium tomorrow.
The Premier League has eluded Manchester United since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson from the club but Mourinho is poised to bring back the glory days for his side. Meanwhile, Swansea will be merely looking to survive in the league and hope for a Leicester City-kind miracle.
Following their barnstorming start, United have been dubbed as favourite for the title. As they progress from tomorrow, a win over the Welsh side will a tad increase their chances.
MAN UTD INJURIES
Ahead of the crunch tie, Jose Mourinho delivered a positive update on his injured squad members. Luke Shaw and Ashley Young have returned to full training and they will featured for the U-23 side of Man united against Swansea on Monday – the duo have been out of action since April and May respectively.
Marcos Rojo will be out of action until the end of the year with a ACL knee injury, while James Wilson is also ruled out.
New boys Nemanja Matic and Romelu Lukaku appear to be favourites in their positions but Jose Mourinho has revealed that he’ll ease Victor Lindelof into the squad as he adapts to the English league.
