Manchester United United have another opportunity to reduced the points deficits between them and League Leader Chelsea when they lock horns at Old Trafford this Sunday. Chelsea are comfortably occupying the top spot of the table and are 18 points ahead of Man United who sit in fifth spot with a game in hand.
The game is adjudged the toughest of this week’s schedule. Antonio tweaked the style and squad that he inherited from Jose Mourinho’s former Chelsea, with the Blues, hoping to line-up in their tradition 3-5-2 formation while the Red Devils are likely to stick with a massive defense and attack approach. Chelsea have won five of their last six League games while United have drawn and won three in their last six.
Chelsea are the most fortunate in terms of players injury – Victor Moses staged a timely return against Bournemouth last weekend as the Blues bounced back from a defeat to Crystal Palace in the penultimate week.
While Thibaut Courtois and David Luis have been playing with niggling injuries, they will be in the squad against Man United along Cesar Azpilicueta, who has a broken hand.
The Red Devils traveled to Brussels for their Europa Cup game without Wayne Rooney and Ashley young. But the aforementioned players have returned to full training after being sidelined with injuries for a few weeks and are in contention against Chelsea.
David De Gea watched from the sidelines against Anderlecht as he played second fiddle to Sergio Romero. He will be back in action this Sunday. Meanwhile, speaking ahead of United’s Europa Cup game, Mourinho ruled out Mata, Jones and Smalling, who are yet on the recovery pane.

Between Manchester United and Chelsea, the Red Devils have won 59games against Chelsea’s 44 wins, while they have drawn 46 games.
United have failed to win their last eight Premier League games against Chelsea (D4 L4) and this includes Jose Mourinho’s last two loses to Antonio Conte in the League and FA Cup. We expect the Special One to seek revenge and redeem his image.
