Manchester City vs Tottenham match preview

Having played 17 round of unbeaten matches, in which they’ve won 16 consecutive matches, Manchester City remain the team to beat.

Their current form is likely to win them the Premier League title with some matches to spare if they maintain their impressive form till the end of the season.

The question which is on the lips of every fan and pundit is — which Premier league club can stop Pep Guardiola’s winning streak or which team will put an end to The Citizens’ unbeaten run?

After Mourinho’s team were unable to end City’s winning run nor halt their unbeaten streak, all eyes are on Mauricio Pochettino’s side on Saturday at the Etihad stadium.

High-flying Manchester City created a new Premier League record on Wednesday against Swansea City as the only club to win 16 consecutive matches. According to Swansea boss Paul Clement, Manchester City is one of the best sides he has played against.

The Citizens have drawn just a single match so far this season; they’ve scored 52 goals, conceding just 11.

Tottenham on the other hand, are not consistent in their performances. They were unable to build on their impressive four-match winning streak which includes a 4-1 win against Liverpool.

Tottenham, who will be without Victor Wanyama  in the team due to injury, will have to be very compact if they must prevent City from scoring which is highly doubtful.

The Lilywhites are currently growing in confidence after winning five from their last six matches in all competition. They might luckily be the team to stop City’s invisibility.
