Manchester United will have a formidable team if their transfer market activities goes as planned. Jose Mourinho has lined up several world class stars and has informed Ed Woodward of the number of signings he needs to bring back the glory days for United.
GFN brings you the latest as it concerns Manchester United transfer.
There was a meeting between the father of Alvaro Morata, Alfonso Morata and his agent Juanma Lopez at the Bernabeu on Monday and it was the players transfer to Man United that was agreed upon.
Real Madrid have agreed lower their asking price for the player. Spanish media Don Balon claim both parties have stricken an agreement to the tune of £61.5m (€70m) for his transfer and an announcement is expected to made this week.
The prolific goal scorer has been in the transfer radar of Manchester United but we understand that Mourinho has him as a plan B, if the deal for Morata fails to pull through.
However, Man United will have to fork out nothing less than €100m if they are to sign the player. This was confirmed by the manager of Torino Sinisa Mihajlovic, who said:
“Will he stay? I hope so and so does [President Urbano] Cairo, who isn’t thinking of selling him,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Then there’s the €100m (£87m) release clause. If someone pays it then a flood of money will arrive, but then we’d have to change the way we play.
“It’s not just about replacing Belotti, it’s worse than that. It’s hard to find someone else who pulls their team-mates forward and scores 26 goals.”
According to Italian newspaper Repubblica, United are still interested in the signing of Ivan Perisic but want his £43.9m valuation to be reduced.
United had seen an offer of £26m thrown out according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio but it is believed that an offer in the region of £35m will be accepted.
The report claims, Perisic will force a move away from San Siro if they Club refuses to accept offers for him. United need him to bolster their options in midfield and the wing.
The legendary goal scoring record holder is on the radar of Everton but his wage demand may see a potential deal hit the rocks. He currently earns £250,000k a week which is a tad too much for the Toffees to pay for their former player.
The Spanish shot stopper has been linked with a move to his country Club Real Madrid and Los Blancos are looking to use Alvaro Morata as a bait to signing him.
However, Madrid are not hell bent on De Gea this summer, they have lined up Thibaut Courtois as an alternative if they fail to sign him.
