Man United to agree deal for €70m-rated marksman, Raiola already involved

Despite being one of the biggest spenders in the transfer window last summer, Jose Mourinho failed to win any trophy but it appears that he is determined to prove his critiques wrong.

Manchester United may have been handed a major boost in their quest to bolster their squad after reports according to the Mirror via Calciomercato claim the Red Devils could secure a deal for Italian midfield marksman Marco Verratti.

A major shake up is expected at Paris Saint Germain following the appointment of Tomas Tuchel and is claimed that Verratti has decided to move away from the club to further his career outside the French League. Tuchel reportedly got him exasperated after asking him to lose weight.

Verratti joined PSG from Seria A club Pescara in the summer of 2012 and he has maintained his position as one of the best central midfielders in the league since then.

Verratti’s agent is Mino Raiola, the same agent that brokered Paul Pogba Man United deal and it is said that he will facilitate the player’s move to the fortress of Old Trafford.

Mourinho revealed after the close of the January transfer window that he will be in the market mainly for the signing of midfielders and he’s already captured Fred from Shahktar Donetsk. To add Verratti will present a selection headache for the Mourinho but he’s the Special One and he knows best.

Verratti is valued at 70,00 Mill. € according to transfermarkt.
