Man United to agree £60m deal for Arsenal prime target

Manchester United are set to bid for their first player in the ongoing transfer market as they are linked with a move for Paris Saint-German star Lucas Moura. According to Le 10 Sport, the Brazilian could be on his way to Old Trafford after José Mourinho confirmed his interest in the forward.

Despite having many options going forward, the Portuguese manager believes Moura will definitely be a sensational player for the Red Devils. He also holds the belief that the Brazil international will add quality to his team’s attacking creativity.

Lucas Moura has been a longtime target for United since Louis Van Gaal’s reign as United boss. He was close to joining the Premier League Giants from São Paulo before he later joined the Ligue 1 giants PSG. Nonetheless, he was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer as proposed Alexis Sanchez replacement. There is no telling if the Gunners will still move for him.

United Should be ready to spend £60m for the player if they must get him before the close of the transfer market at the end of January.

Lucas Moura has featured in 212 matches, scoring 44 goals in all competitions since joining the French side in 2012. He has been ever-present for PSG despite the addition of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe during the last summer window.

José Mourinho’s team returned to winning ways yesterday after they defeated Everton 2-0 at the Goodison Park. They are back to the second position on the Premier League table pending the Chelsea match against Arsenal on Wednesday.
