Man United ready to agree £145m deal for mega star duo
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer picked up a trodden Manchester United after the side were on the brink of an emotional collapse and steered them back into the Premier League’s top four and the quarter finals of both the FA Cup and Champions League.
Solskjaer has revealed no plans to charge for the Premier League title, but with their level of performance they could cause some ripples and shake up things.
Solskjaer may be having one of his best seasons as a manager of not just any club, but an outfit that have always prided themselves as one of the best clubs in the world.
As far as the praises go for the 46-year-old, he can’t ride on that same success horse next season if he doesn’t find a good and suitable fix for their backline.
They have been churning out a good blend of results lately, but you’d be quick to spot out that they are still a little wobbly at the heart of defence and could suffer a big drop like a punctured balloon if they ignore the problem.
Reports floating about say the Red Devils are ready to splash big to sign defensive duo Kalidou Koulibaly and Joao Cancelo in the summer transfer window to beef up their defensive wall.
Words floating in Italy say that United are willing to stump up 95 million pounds to sign big star and former January target Napoli’s Koulibaly in the summer. But they won’t stop there. Juventus man Cancelo who has made over 20 appearances for the Old Lady will be picked also for a reported starting bid of 52 million pounds.
The Red Devils are now getting ready to wake up from their long slumber.
