Former Gunners frontman now turned United striker Alexis Sanchez is prepared to leave Old Trafford as his miseries continue.
The Chilean has struggled to impress since joining the outfit in the 2018. Hampered by injury issues, Sanchez has not been able to hold down his spot at the Premier League outfit, losing it to youngster Marcus Rashford and Belgium international Romelu Lukaku.
Sánchez has seen his form take a plunge, one that completely left him devastated. The 30-year-old is out of shape, and is gradually becoming a past in Manchester United. Count back to his glory days in Arsenal when he was terrific at scoring goals, United had counted themselves completely lucky to have convinced him to come play for them with a mouthwatering sum slapped on the table to make him the club’s highest earner.
Still, with the fat wage, Sanchez has failed to produce the goods at the club. He has only managed to score five times in 41 games for the Mancunians an unimpressive tally for someone who earns £500,000–per-week as wages. United are keen on dumping the star before the 2019-20 season, even though Sanchez is unwilling to leave the Premier League side. For now, the winger has been sidelined following an injury to his knee.
