Man United on the verge of sealing €56.6m deal for South-American Chelsea target

Manchester United are on the verge of signing Brazil and Juventus left wing back Alex Sandro, according to report.

Sandro was in the middle of a transfer tussle between Chelsea an Manchester United last summer, but the Old Lady would only sell in a mega deal and that did not go down well with the aforementioned clubs.

There are speculations that Manchester United would release some of their defenders in the transfer window including Daley Blind, Matteo Darmian and Luke Shaw, leaving the club with no choice than to sign reinforcement.

Ashley Young has played as the makeshift left wing back for Mourinho, a situation the Red Devils will correct going into next season, with Sandro firmly on their transfer radar.

According to Birminghammail, Juventus will sell Sandro to Man United in a €56.6m deal and the deal will be finalised when the transfer window comes alive.

The report further claims Sandro is keen on moving the Premier League next season and it is highly likely that he will be lacing his boots for the Reds Devils.

Sandro joined Juventus from FC Porto in the summer of 2015 and he has been a regularly feature for the side since then. He’s scored four goals in 38 League games for Juventus this season.

Mourinho revealed that he will not be signing a forward in the coming transfer window, but they are looking to replace Michael Carrick and some of the defenders that might be leaving.
