Man United on the brink of signing Real Madrid target to deal

United fans are piqued with high expectations at the moment as they anticipate the best news ever. And that will be keeping Spaniard De Gea in Old Trafford.

De Gea has enjoyed a robust season playing for the Red Devils since joining from Atletico in 2011.

The 27-year-old has been selected a record five times as a goalkeeper in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year, an outstanding success amongst the small pool of shot-stoppers in the Premier League.

But, perhaps what makes him so special and truly loved by United fans is his dedication to the club and that is true sportsmanship.

The Reds Devils were on course losing him three years ago to European rivals and Spanish galatico Real Madrid.

But that deal was scuppered by a broken machine  just at the nick of time to save the Mancunians.

However Real Madrid would continue in their persistent approach, and would have snapped him up this summer, only for the Whites to sign Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois instead.

The Spaniard may have endured a horrible first World Cup experience for Spain, and a stumbling start to the new season, but United are willing to offer him “the deal” to keep him playing for them.

For United fans, this would be the best tale of the season.
