PSV winger is Steven Bergwijn is catching a lot of headline attention in the Eredevisie, and Manchester United are reportedly on the alert, closely monitoring his progress in an attempt to land him.
The Netherlands international who has been capped two times for the former World Cup finalists has been catching the eyes with his attacking flairs.
Bergwijn has found the back of the net nine times in 16 games for the PSV and United’s caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hugely impressed over his performance.
The Norwegian is hopeful he can get the stalwart. Murmurs floating about is claiming that Solskjaer is raring to send scouts out to keep keen and close eyes on the 21-year-old.
Bergwijn has a 25 million pounds price valuation pinned to his shirt should United push with the idea to bring him to England.
Bergwijn penned a new deal in June with PSV which keeps him tied down until 2022. Nonetheless, despite the deep pockets of Manchester United, it would be very difficult to prise the youngster out of the club after initially turning down bids from Serie A side Torino and French Ligue One outfit Bordeaux.
Meanwhile, Bergwijn has said he is in to rush to leave PSV amid rumours he is a target for big clubs.
