Man United official spotted in Italy ahead of deal for £25m CB, Tottenham linked

Joachim Andersen is attracting huge interest from the Premier League, with Manchester United and Tottenham heavily linked with a move for the star.

Andersen joined Sampdoria in the summer of 2017 but the 22-year-old star has so far had a shaky career in Seria A. He has featured in 13 games for his club this term and that has increased his stock.

Sampdoria played 1-1 draw at Genoa on Sunday and the scouts of United and Spurs were in attendance, as they particular went to watch the Denish centre-back.

According to the Mirror, the player is linked with a £25million to the Premier League, with Spurs and United said to be at loggerhead over his signature.

United are reportedly going to be actively involved in the January transfer window, and their aim would be the fortify their leaky defence. They were linked with a move for Toby Alderweireld and Harry Maguire in the summer but the move for the aforementioned stars did not pull through.

Meanwhile, Tottenham were not actively involved in the signing of players last summer, but they are expected to do same in January.
