United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has swept fans off their feet, helping the Red Devils claw back, and playing great football again.
United have won four games in trot, with matches coming thick and fast.
Whether Solskjaer will remain in the job, remains unclear. Cleaving to the Norwegian to lead them beyond the end of this season is a bit dicey, as the management could resolve to being extra circumpective in appointing a new manager for the role, following the “Jose Mourinho disaster.”
However, the Norwegian still has a say in United’s transfer in January and it remains to be seen whether he can persuade United to sign any player this winter after their big splash in the winter and summer of 2018.
Notwithstanding, the Red Devils have continued to be linked with a move to bring in a centre-back in January. But this time around, United are looking to bring in something different.
Yannick Carasco has emerged in their radar and reports suggest that United may be interested in signing the 25-year-old winger.
The former Atletico Madrid man who is now playing for Chinese Super League outfit Dalian Yifang, is looking to switch back to Europe after spending a year in the Chinese League, says reports.
Foot Mercato is fanning the flames on the move and is reporting that United are keen to sign him.
