Manchester United are weighing in on a deal for Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Jame Rodriguez, this is according to reports.
Rodriguez announced himself to the football World with a barnstorming appearances at the 2014 World Cup. He moved to Real Madrid and continued to enjoy fine form. However, he was out-of-favour for the side during the reign of Zinedine Zidane and he was sent on two year loan deal at the Allianz Arena.
The Colombian star is in his final loan spell with Bayern Munich but he has not be able to find his footing under new manager Niko Kovac, and he has been linked with a move away from the side.
Kovac introduced a combative method at the club that has failed to yield fruits and this has not gone down well with some of the players including Rodriguez.
United’s interest in the 27-year-old star stems from the uncertainty surrounding the future of Alexis Sanchez, who has been heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint Germain.
The Chilean has became a flop since joining United in the January transfer window and they are looking to offload to player but not without signing his replacement.
The January transfer market is beaconing upon us..it will not be long before we know the fate of Sanchez.
