Manchester United have prepared a replacement for midfield towering guard Paul Pogba should he depart the club this summer say Italian media.
For the bulk of last season, Paul Pogba was caught in a row with boss Jose Mourinho and strong claims emerged he could exit the club following the incidence.
It was believed the meltdown handicapped his performance for the Mancunians last term as he struggled to find form.
Italian outlet Calciomercato, as quoted by the Daily Express has claimed that the Red Devils already have a fallback plan, should he walk out of his deal with the Manchester outfit.
According to the article, Lazio’s Sergey Milinkovic-Savic will reprise Pogba’s role at Old Trafford, if the midfielder leaves this summer.
José Mourinho wants to be armed to the teeth this summer and will not leave any stones unturned.
Nonetheless, Pogba has managed to show hints of his best form for France at the World Cup in Russia, which is a good sign.
But former club Juventus are reportedly planning on raiding United for the player.
Miralem Pjanic has been touted to leave the Serie A winners. If that happens, Juventus could eye a move for Paul Pogba.
The Turin-based club has also signed over five-time FIFA Balon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo from Club World Cup champions Real Madrid.
Milinkovic-Savic is valued at £81.00m according to transfermarkt.
