Manchester United are interested in signing West Ham striker Marko Arnautovic but they have decided against making a move for the star until the summer, according to reports.
United are expected to be actively involved in the forthcoming January transfer window but it appears that they will focus on reinforcing aspects of their squad other than the attack.
Arnautovic moved from Stoke City to West Ham United in the summer of 2017, and the Austrian has remained a torn in the flesh of most defenders in the Premier League. The 29-year-old star has scored five goals in 11 League appearances and it is widely claimed that Jose Mourinho is pleased with his form.
The brother of the player who doubles as his agent recently revealed that the star is looking to further his career in a club that plays Champions League, this serves as a huge boost for United. However, Manuel Pellegrini has decided to hold on to his best player, knowing well that he could be prised away from the London club.
United will continue to monitor the star beyond the January transfer window and they could make an offer for him at the end of the season, reports the Metro.
He is valued at £50million, a fee that would not be too big for United but we wait to see how all of this pans out.
