Man United close in on deal for “Assist king”, midfielder wants deal – Not Morata

After enjoy the reigns of the French Ligue One for four years, Paris Saint Germain were dethroned to the Ligue One title by a high-flying Monaco side and their players have been at the glances of top European Clubs having impressed in the League and Europe.

The centre of attention has been of course French youngster Kylian Mbappe but Portuguese midfielder Bernado Silva has appeared on the radar of several Clubs too. Emerging reports are in the claim that the assist king already wants out of Monaco with Man United as his most probable destination.

Silva has been a key player to Monaco’s success  this season. The 22-year-old started in 33 League games where he scored eight goals and provided nine assists. He currently has an existing three year contract with Monaco but the report claims he is in the want of a move away from Stade Louis II.

According to a report by sport24, they claim a deal was ‘very likely’ to pull through for Silva and given the authenticity of their reportage, we can deduce that United are really keen on the player but it is only a matter of time before we know if he’d be in the Red Devils squad.

It would be recalled Morgan Schneiderlin was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in the penultimate season but part of Canal + group had tweeted that he would join Man United and it turned out spot on.

Monaco conquered the French League last night and Bernado made bare his desire of want a move. United have James Rodriguez lined up as a creative midfield target but Silva is another ideal midfielder that can thicken the middle of the pack for the Red Devils.
