Man United battle Man City and Liverpool to sign £28m-rated sturdy defender

Manchester United are reportedly interested in securing the services of Sevilla left-back, Clement Lenglet.

The 22-year-old Clement Lenglet is also on many clubs’ radar which includes Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester City.

Lenglet who can comfortably play at the centre of the defence line is set to create a transfer tug-of-war between Manchester United and Manchester City and Liverpool.

He is rated £28m by the Spanish club and given the inflated nature of the transfer window, that sum is cut price.

Mourinho is reportedly focused on improving his defence line according to The Mirror as his impressive duo of Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia are getting old.

Lenglet joined Sevilla from Nancy.
