Inter Milan winger Antonio Candreva has been a subject of transfer interest from Manchester United and Chelsea, and the Premier League clubs have been boosted in their chances to sign him, according to reports.
Although Candreva has been featuring regularly for the Nerazzurri this term but manager of the side Luciano Spalletti has ruled the 31-year-old star out of his plans for the future, hence he has been put up for sale at the end of the season.
While lacing his boots for Lazio, Candreva had a record of one goal in at least four matches but he has been unable to replicate the same form at the San Siro despite given the chance to shine.
Nonetheless, the creative aspect of his game appears to be still intact as he has provided eight assist this term, which has greatly appealed to Man United and Chelsea.
Chelsea are currently enduring a torrid spell in the Champions League which stems from the inability to create and score goals. Antonio Conte is a big fan of the Italian star and he is reportedly willing to splash some cash on him. Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho has ruled out the signing of a winger but from his antecedent, he will spend on attackers in the summer.
Candreva has laid bare his desire to play for a Premier League club: “I really like the Premier League, as it’s an exceptional competition. I’d love to have a go at playing in the Premier League.” He said.
He is currently valued at £18.00m according to transfermarkt.
