Italian and Fiorentina youngster Federico Chiesa has spiked up interests between English outfits Manchester United and Liverpool including a host of other clubs across Europe, this is according to report.
Admired for his abilities to play on both flanks as well as playing the role of a central attacking midfielder for the Italian outfit, the young sensation has emerged as a primary target for Manchester United with rumours that Napoli, Inter Milan and Manchester City are also on a queue for his signature.
However, Fiorentina have slapped a huge £62 million for his release. The 20-year-old is believed to be one of the most promising talent at the moment in Italian football, reports COS.
While his fee seems outrageous given his age and little experience, and the possibility of many calling United to wave off their interests in the player, he could add a lot to Mourinho’s side.
Mourinho’s preference are wide players, players who are comfortable and can excel in different positions which is one of the key attributes of Chiesa.
Nevertheless, with Bale still linked with a return to the Premier League and to Manchester United, a move for him will definitely bolster United’s front. But with a £195 million price tag on his shirt, Ciesa is a much cheaper option for the Red Devils.
