Ramsey’s contract situation at Arsenal keeps tumbling into deeper mess. However the 27-year-old is not fazed by the fact that his contract at the north London outfit has been shelved.
Meanwhile, talks have floated about his looming exit in January, but the player has quashed such suggestions, revealing in his own words that he won’t be exiting Arsenal in January.
Ramsey is committed to helping Arsenal achieve success under Unai Emery this season.
The Welsh midfielder has insisted he will run down his contract at the club, even though Arsenal are understood to have lay off the ideas of letting him go as a free this season.
It is understood a pool of European clubs in the La Liga, Premier League clubs Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool, and Serie A are keen to sign the midfielder.
But they may have to wait patiently, after Ramsey revealed he is “concentrated” on giving his best for the club this season.
Ramsey said: “I am contracted to Arsenal and I am going to do my best now this season to try and achieve something special.
“Everything has been going great with the club. We thought we were in a position where we had agreed a deal but that’s no longer the case.
“So I just have to carry on playing my football and do my best for Arsenal this season, and I’ll leave the rest with the club now.”
Ramsey joined Arsenal from Cardiff in 2008, for a reported fee of 5 million pounds.
