Liverpool are planning to stump up 88 million pounds to sign German star Timo Werner from German outfit RB Leipzig.
But they will have to move out some players to make space for the 22-year-old forward.
Liverpool may likely farm out Divock Origi and striker Daniel Sturridge to bring in the Germany international.
While the latter could be handed a deal to extend his stay at the outfit as reports are suggesting, it is unclear if there is still a future for Belgian Origi.
Werner has been linked with a move to Liverpool and the Reds are warming up to the idea of bringing the youngster to England.
Bayern Munich have also been credited with an interest in the 22-year-old.
Meanwhile, a move to ship out Origi is already on the cards. Turkish side Besiktas have been linked with a move for Origi. And unlike Sturridge who has come up several times to score many winners for Liverpool, Origi has been a bit-part player for the Reds.
Liverpool’s 2-1 defeat at the Etihad cut the gap between them and champions Manchester City to four points.
The Reds are chasing their first silverware since 2005, and Klopp’s first since leaving Dortmund.
