The Premier League demands a lot from newcomers and Liverpool’s Naby Keita is no exception.
The former RB Leipzig star has featured in three out of four Premier League games for the Reds.
The struggling demands of the Premier League is quick to hurt players who can’t adapt, but Keita is positive he will integrate well with the rest of the squad.
The Liverpool summer signing told the club’s magazine that he will not deterred by the gruesome challenges of the Premier League.
He said: “I’ve been told by many people that a lot of overseas players come into the Premier League and they take time to integrate, depending on the circumstances.
“So playing in the Premier League can be difficult, but I am very motivated to play here, not just for myself and my team-mates, but for the club.”
Keita praised the warmth he has received so far, in settling in at Anfield and remarked that he is motivated to continue impressing at the Merseyside outfit.
“The Premier League is different to other leagues where I have played and everybody knows it is very tough, but I will do my best to beat my own personal records – I’m very motivated.” Explained the midfielder.
Liverpool welcome rivals Tottenham at Anfield on Saturday. The Reds remain at the top of the Premier League standing, closely tailed by Chelsea at second, on levelled points.
