Liverpool may have failed to land their transfer prime target Naby Keita from RB Leipzig, but the manager of the Reds is not resting his onus to bolster the Reds squad.
The Premier League kick-offs less than a fortnight from today but the transfer market is wide open and Liverpool have no reignited their interest in the signing of in-demand Brazil born attacker midfielder Luan Vieira, who laces his boots for Gremio, according to reports.
Luan joined Gremio in 2013 but he has assumed the position of one of their most valuable player. Despite featuring only 14 times in the League for his Club in their ongoing season, the skillful 24-year-old attacking midfielder has scored five goals and provided six assists for his teammates.
Dubbed as the next Ronaldinho because of his finesse, Liverpool are not the only Club in the pursuit of the player, they are joined by Trukish side Fenerbahce and Seria A Side Sampdoria. However, no offer has been made for the attacker.
Liverpool had earlier offered £26million for the player earlier this year and it was accepted by the Brazilian outfit, but nothing has been heard of his move to Anfield since then until this recent report.
He was tipped to replace the out-gone Christian Benteke and later Daniel Sturridge but the latter is staying put at Anfield and so, we cannot ascertain the veracity of this report.
Neymar departure to PSG has left Barcelona scrapping for the signature of Philippe Coutinho, Liverpool could be forced to sign Luan before the window closes.
