There has been recent reports of discord between the players of Chelsea and manager Antonio Conte, with claims that the Italian boss has been hard both on training ground and in the dressing room with his players. And now, according to emerging reports, the players of the club have been found texting the former assistant of Conte, Steve Holland because they cannot approach their boss.
Holland left the Premier league Champions and he’s currently with the Three Lions with similar designation and it appears that he’s kept his relationship with the rank and file of Chelsea cordial. The Sun are running a report that Holland has received text messages from Chelsea players and they have told him that they miss him.
The past few weeks have been challenging for Conte as he has managed just a win in four games and a chunk of his key players have been sidelined with injuries – the report further stated that the intense training regime has accounted for why they are picking up injuries with reckless abandon.
Chelsea’s conquest of the league last term was attributed to their absence from the Champions league which gave them recovery time between league games. The Blues have returned the holy grail of European football and that has somewhat affected them.
Meanwhile, Davide Mazzotta, who was appointed in the stead of Holland has failed to develop a relationship with the players of Chelsea.
