Arsenal continue their pre-season games against Bayern Munich on Tuesday and the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will continue with fine-tuning his team as they step up preparations for the upcoming season.
Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac joined the Gunners this summer and both players have had cameos in the colours of Arsenal. They are expected to be first team players but Wenger may use them in varying ways to see how best they fit into the squad of Arsenal.
Lacazette scored in his pre-season debut for Arsenal as he played the central forward role but he was deployed on the left flank when Arsenal thumped Western Sydney Wanderer’s 3-1 in their second game. Wenger sees him as a potential left winger but that’s a position Alexis Sanchez owns at Arsenal.
Wenger has stuck with his 3-4-3 formation but Oliver Giroud and Alexandre Lacazette formed a potent partnership in the last game and Wenger is likely to test the French duo again. Sanchez’s future is somewhat in doubt but if he stays, the three players are not likely to play together.
Meanwhile, Sead Kolasinac seem to have slotted into the left side of a back three, he is sure to continue there while some of the youngsters are given opportunity to play.
We think Arsenal will line-up this way.
