Eric Bailly has decided to quit Manchester United and he could end up lacing his boots for Arsenal on Tottenham, according to the Mirror.
Bailly arrived Manchester United from Villareal in the summer of 2016 with the reputation of a top-notch defender but he has found himself playing from the bench recently.
He has featured in four Premier league games this term and two of those cameo were from the bench, and he is said to be unhappy with this situation.
Arsenal and Tottenham have been lurking around the fortress of Old Trafford, monitoring developments with the star.
It is claimed that the Gunners are in pole position to sign the player as they are considering a swap deal including Mesut Ozil.
Arsenal apparently have a need for a centre-back having conceded nine goals in 10 League games already this term and they could be looking to sign sturdy defender in the mould of Bailly in the January transfer window.
It is left to be seen if Bailly will remain a Manchester United player beyond the January transfer window but he will unlikely stay if he does not get regular game time.
United are also looking to sign an assured centre-back but it is unclear if Jose Mourinho will sanction a move for one come January.
