United have been in the market for a defender since the summer and Koulibaly tickles the fancy of the club for a transfer.’
Dubbed as one of the finest defenders in the world and the Serie A, Koulibaly signed a contract extension deal with Napoli in December, but United have not given up on the hope of luring him to the fortress of Old Trafford even though Napoli had rejected their advances.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer already has a plethora of defenders in have Victor Lindelof, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo and Eric Bailly to choose from but their dwindling form means they can not be relied upon.
ESPN reports that Koulibaly is open to joining Manchester United. albeit they are likely to wait in the summer before making a mega money move for him.
Ed Woodward is said to be a huge fan of the Napoli star and he would do everything possible to sign the player who is valued at £89m.
Diego Godin and Milan Skriniar are the other centre-backs linked with a move to United in the window.
