Just in: Diego Costa’s message to Antonio Conte and Chelsea revealed

Spain international and Chelsea striker Diego Costa has released a statement following his situation at Chelsea and he has revealed that he will be heading to Spain instead of Chelsea, according to report.

Costa is currently exiled in his native country Brazil after he was dropped from Chelsea’s squad by Antonio Conte and he has no plans of lacing his boots for the Blues even he’d be reinstated.

Antonio Conte had dismissed the Spain international from his squad earlier in the summer and the two have been at loggerheads since then.

Costa has been on the transfer radar of several clubs including AC Milan but he is poised to return to his former side Atletico Madrid. However, Atletico Madrid are unable to sign any player in this transfer window as they are currently serving a ban but Costa is hell-bent on returning the Vicente Calderon.

“My destination is already set,” Costa said, via his boyhood club Sportivo Sergipe.

“I must return to Atletico Madrid next season. It turns out that there is the impasse that Chelsea does not want to release me.

“But I believe that this situation will be resolved now on my return to Spain.”

Earlier this week, Costa revealed in an explosive interview that Chelsea were treating him like a criminal even though he is at loss over offending any one. He has said he would not resume training with the B team of Chelsea and he desires to leave since he’s no longer wanted.

Costa was pivotal to Chelsea’s conquest of the League last term and major of the fans feels he’s been unfairly treated at the club. Nonetheless, he has a contract to honour.
