Ousmane Dembele could completely breath life into the strike force of any football team in the world, if he is a part of it.
It’s exactly what he’s done in Barcelona when he came in from Dortmund last season. The youngster could tear down defences apart very easily with his swift movements and keen eyes for goals.
But now it looks like all he is doing at Barcelona is tearing down rules and fighting against the club’s management.
Dembele was axed from the team that lost 3-2 at the Camp Nou to Real Betis last week Sunday, after failing to show up for training.
His erratic behaviour has put the club on red alert, including coaches who have fessed up about how difficult he has been since enjoying only fewer games this term.
Barcelona has alerted Premier League rivals and last season’s Champions League finalists Liverpool about his availability. They are keen on offloading him in January and Liverpool, with a host of other clubs have reportedly shown strong interests in the star.
Liverpool want to purchase Dembele according to the Daily Mail, despite the Liverpool Echo admitting the information as false and should be disregarded.
Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the troubleshooter and the Daily Mail claims the German is willing to spend around 96 million pounds to prise him away for Barcelona in January. If there’s any truth in this, this will help fuel the Reds attack in the second half of this campaign.
