Emerson is being watched by Merseyside outfit Liverpool, according to reports.

The Brazilian has been spot-on at right-back this term for his club Atletico Mineiro.

With an assist and a goal pinned beside his name, his screaming performance has been what’s caused clubs across Europe to sniff around him.

The 20-year-old’s brilliant rendition at the Brazilian club has had a host of clubs scurrying down to watch him play.

There have been interests pouring in from top European leagues including the Portuguese Primera.

Serie A clubs Inter Milan, Juventus have registered their interests in the player, notwithstanding, La Liga club Valencia and Portuguese outfit Porto have also joined the fray.

Big players in the transfer market Barcelona are not left out as the Catalans are waiting in the wings to pick him up in the summer.

England is also not silent about the player’s capabilities and Premier League leaders Liverpool are in the race to sign the 20-year-old.

Emerson is contracted at the outfit until 2022, and has played over 20 games at the Brazilian club this campaign.

He would definitely be a fine add to Jurgen Klopp side who are short on options at the right-back as Trent Alexander-Arnold and James Milner both out.
