Jurgen Klopp sanction Liverpool deal for 41-goal striker

Ciro Immobile in on the radar of Liverpool as Reds manager Jurgen Klopp prepares to add extra depth to his side.

The Lazio striker grabbed so much attention last season, finishing in a brilliant fashion, scoring 41 times in 47 matches for the Serie A club.

It is still unclear if England striker Daniel Sturridge will remain at Anfield following his long injury spells and his inability to stamp his mark at the Merseysiders.

GiantsFootballNews understands offers for Sturridge has been pouring in from foreign clubs and, though the striker has helped out a little less than few times for Liverpool, no deal appears to be in sights, as he enters the final six months in his contract with Liverpool.

Immobile is a reliable option and could kill off the issue of fatigue in the Reds front three.

There are plenty of games on the horizon and backups for either of Klopp’s lethal three are too slim.

Anfield Press claimed Liverpool have sent representatives to watch the prolific goalscorer in his club’s clash with Napoli on Sunday.

The 28-year-old has netted 13 times in 24 matches this campaign. His records at Lazio have been impeccable so far, however, he has failed to produce the goods on some other occasions, especially during his spells at the German Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund and a loan spell at Spanish side Sevilla.
