Jurgen Klopp sanction Liverpool deal for £160m forward

Jurgen Klopp is armed to the teeth, and keen on chasing down Real Madrid star Marco Asensio.

The Liverpool manager lodged much more than smattering sum of money last season to prise him away from Los Blancos.

The Reds were reported to have submitted a 160 million pounds bid for the Spaniard, but the deal was pushed back by Real Madrid, who were still healing for the reeling experience that hit them following Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure.

Ronaldo departed the Spanish outfit for Juventus this summer, though his move was hugely anticipated, it left Los Blancos in a deep end.

Klopp had handpicked Asensio, since including him in his summer shopping list of names he could like bring in. Real Madrid rebuff the deal. The Spanish outfit didn’t have a replacement for Ronaldo and losing Asensio who they felt could deliver the goods who not on their cards.

Nonetheless, Klopp is not dismayed by the bullish aggression of Real Madrid when he was credited with an interest in the frontman, and according to Spanish journalist, Eduardo Inda, the 56-year-old is ready to dip into Liverpool’s heavy pockets to bring Asensio to Anfield, as he plans another overhaul.

Klopp is in love with the player, but like billows of dust, it is unclear if Real would sanction his sale. Klopp may be chasing a castle in the sky afterall.
