Three more players could still move to Valencia in what could be a busy final week for them in the transfer window.
The Spanish side have already signed both Jeison Murillo and Geoffrey Kondogbia on loan from Inter Milan while Gabriel Paulista has also joined them from Arsenal in a £10 million deal.
However, they are still on the lookout to add more players to their squad as the transfer window is only few days away from being closed.
In the light of that, Valencia have been linked with a loan move for Manchester United’s Andreas Pereira. While some reports have it that the decision to join the La Liga club on loan or stay at Old Trafford is largely down to the player, Super Deporte claim Jose Mourinho has agreed to release Pereira on loan.
The Brazilian was impressive on loan at Granada last season and during United’s pre-season tour. The 21-year-old has also reiterated his desire to stay at Old Trafford but he may find playing time hard to come by at the club with the array of star players ahead of him. He was not included in the squad that defeated West Ham and Swansea City.
And it is understood that Valencia’s owner Peter Lim has succeeded in convincing Mourinho about the player but still need the affirmation of the United hierarchy for the deal to go through.
Valencia are also reportedly edging closer to complete a loan deal for Goncalo Guedes from PSG and want to sign Lucas Perez from Arsenal.
It is left to be seen if Valencia’s targets will move to the club.
