Manchester United are weighing in on a deal for Brazilian and Bordeaux centre-back Pablo, this is according to reports.
For the umpteen time, United conceded goals in the final Champions League group game on Wednesday. Apparently, the defence of the Red Devils need a quick fix ahead of the second half of the season.
Although Mourinho has a plethora of options to choose from in the defence, all of the players have failed to bring on their A-game this term. They ended last season with the second best defensive record in the League but they currently have only a +2 goal difference.
Several names have been thrown up into the fray of targets for United including Toby Alderweireld, Eder Militao and Kalidou Koulibaly but Pablo has emerged top of the target for Mourinho.
Fox Sports Brazil claim Pablo is the main man for Mourinho as it is believed he would come cheaper. He is tied to a contract at Bordeaux until the 2020-21 season.
He joined Bordeaux on a four year deal in 2015 but he spent the penultimate season on loan at country club Corinthians. He returned this season and has been one of the key players for Bordeaux this term, featuring in 18 games.
