Jose Mourinho has finally decided on Manchester United fourth summer signing

There is a cliche in the world of football that says ‘Real Madrid always gets their man”, the same could be said of Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho who seem to have mastered the art of the transfer window.

Against all the odds and expectation Jose Mourinho usurped Chelsea to the signature of Romelu Lukaku among two other signings this summer and he has spent the excess of £310 million since taking charge of the reigns of Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho had a forgettable debut season for the Red Devils last term but his side seem rejuvenated as they kicked-off their Premier League campaign this season to a flying start and they have now been dubbed favourites for the Premier League title while expectations are high that they will contend for the Champions League.

Mourinho had reiterated his desire to add four more players to his squad before the open of the transfer window but he has been left frustrated in his quest to sign on a winger before the close of the transfer window. Ivan Perisic continues to be a player of Inter Milan while Gareth Bale remains a toast for Madrid.

The transfer market is two weeks away from being shut and Mourinho is still keen on a player but reports have shown that he may have to part with one of his players in order to sign an attacker player. However, reports have indicated that the Special One will be patient until the January transfer window to make move for another player, reports ESPN.

Man United have massively reduced the headcount of players within their rank an that is saving them around £500,000-a-week, having raised only £9.8m in sales this summer from Adnan Januzaj’s transfer.

While United are looking for a wide player, Anthony Martial appears to have stepped up his game and he may do the yo-man’s job required of him this season.
