After winning Man United and other two consecutive games on the trot, the Gunners are in high spirit and they will be looking to beat Sunderland in tonight’s Premier League game to keep their slim hope of Champions League qualification alive.
The only player doubtful for the clash is the Gunners high-flying attacker Alexis Sanchez, who limped off the Gunners win over Stoke City last weekend. He is a major doubt for today;s game but he’s expected to return for the final League game this weekend.
The Gunners have enough legs to be able to cope with the absence of Alexis Sanchez. Iwobi and Welbeck have not been regular starters for the resurgent Arsenal but the game against the Black Cats in an opportunity for them to be featured.
Wenger is likely to retain three defenders at the back but Koscielny is likely to be at the heart of defense and he’ll be flanked by Mustafi and Holding to form a centre-back trio. Chamberlain has been nursing a hamstring injury but he’s fit enough for today’s game.
Meanwhile, Sunderland have been relegated already and have nothing to play for. On paper, we pass as winners for the game already but Wenger and his men will not take anything for granted. And so we think, the Gunners will line up this way.
