Ivan Perisic to Man United deal close, Inter Milan considers players stance on move

The inability of Jose Mourinho to add another player to his otherwise strong squad has left the fans of the Red Devils wagging their tongues. United added Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku to the mix but despite Mourinho’s call for more signings, no deal has been sealed hitherto.

Croatian international Ivan Perisic has been the player mostly linked with a move to Man United. It now appears that a deal might just be in the offing for the player after Express sport claim the deal is close.

Talks between Inter Milan and Manchester United for the player’s move have been hampered by United’s inability to meet the player’s valuation. The San Siro giants have asked United to fork out as much as  £48million plus Antonio Martial before they will allow the player leave.

We understand that Perisic wants out of the Club and the boss of Inter Milan Luciano Spalletti reckons that the Club will listen to offers for the wantaway attacker.

“For me the talk is always the same when it comes to him,” Spalletti said.

“He’s strong, he’s a player I want to keep with me, but then we must consider the opinion of the club and the player.”

His statement has been inferred to Perisic move to Man United closer than ever. Perisic is sure to make the attack of Man United more potent. He has a very good foot-work and is adept and making crosses, which give Lukaku more opportunity to shine.

Man United qualified for the Champions League but ended the season in sixth position, a bad feat Mourinho is looking to better next term.
